Job Duties
Develop, create, and modify Hyperion applications and databases; gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements; participate in SDLC and assist in project documentation preparation; develop, enhance, maintain, and support Essbase/Planning cubes; reconcile journal postings with Hyperion cube data; create budget and forecasting forms; develop and enhance budget and forecast reports; collect data and generate data movement report; develop and implement continual service improvements; migrate applications; write and modify existing calculation and batch scripts; implement automations in Hyperion jobs; improve Hyperion system performance; generate incident summary reports and involved in solution methodologies to fix incidents; define security on Hyperion systems; perform application and user security audits; perform unit and integration testing; monitor and debug back up jobs; provide monitoring and support for applications developed; and utilize the following tools: Linux, UNIX, Oracle, SQL Server, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion BI, Hyperion Financial Reports, HFM, SSIS, HAL, SFN, HPSC, Camtasia, XML, ADO.NET, C#.NET, XML, and related tools. Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or in a related area of study (will accept equivalent foreign education); will accept bachelor equivalent based on a combination of education and experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service Experience: Two (2) years in the occupation above, or as a Software Developer, Data Analyst, QA Analyst, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year of work with HPSC, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Financial Reports; must be willing to relocate; will accept any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or relevant work experience.
